One of our most exciting projects that we have been working on for the past two years is the completion of our Large Indoor Equine Center. This will make it possible for the troubled teens at MTCYR to receive year round equine therapy and training in Natural Horsemanship. We also purchased a small remuda (horse herd) of Registered Quarter Horse Fillies. They are beautiful 6 month old weanling's that offer the boys at Mount Carmel Youth Ranch the opportunity to learn how to train young foals. The boys at MTCYR are loving this hands on learning opportunity! This awesome building was made possible by a Grant the Mount Carmel Youth Ranch Received from The Daniels Fund. We are all deeply appreciative of this grant and what it has made possible for our students.

The Daniels Fund Also gave a grant a few years back for the building of our large indoor Sports Center. The troubled teenage boys that attend Mount Carmel Youth Ranch enjoy this gift immensely! They love to play basketball, ping-pong, dodge ball, and even football in the sports center. This helps make the winters go by a lot faster for these energetic young men.
